Shobhan Bantwal: Honorary Word Wench

Cat 243 Dover by Mary Jo

Shobhan–it is a Word Wench custom to give our guests Honorary Word Wench status, as well as a virtual gift to thank you for joining us.  I really enjoyed our discussion of the intertwined history of India and Britain, since this is something I've often touched on in my romances.

So my virtual gift to you today is this splendid image of Ganesha, the happy god who is the remover of obstacles.  May he share his bounty with you to remove all hurdles in your writing and personal lives:

Ganesha-2

I have borrowed this image from a page by Matthew Brooks, a student at the University of Oklahoma.  He includes three origin stories stories of Lord Ganesha, as well as links to other sites.  Thanks again for visiting us.  You may now used the initials "HWW" for Honorary Word Wench after your name. <G>
