Read a Romance Month

Mary Jo with just a quick note about Read a Romance Month.  This is a large and jolly celebration of romance with short posts and recommendations from 93 different authors–three a day, and lots of book giveaways, too.  I have a post Sunday, August 18th, Anne Gracie will be on August 30th, and on August 1st, Sarah Morgan gave a call out to our Nicola Cornick, who linked a post of her own.  So stop by and join the romance party!

  1. Dearest Wenches,
I realise I found out about this lovely event far too late to add much to it, but I found a few lovely badges I can use on my blog to show my love for romance, inasmuch having it dawn on me that I read one of the most famous romances of all: Pride and Prejudice !!! Perhaps, I was romantically drawn to read bits and pieces of this lovely genre just in the nick of time!! I was curious, do any of you know if this is an annual event!? I’d love to mark it down in advance for next August!! 🙂 🙂
Merrily, I thank you! You always have the most wicked sweet things to share with us!!

This was the first Read a Romance Month (and it’s worth browsing the whole month’s worse of posts–there’s great stuff there.) Bobbi Dumas is planning to do it again next year, so maybe it will become an annual event. We can hope!
