Anne here, and for your entertainment, here’s another quiz on a book you haven’t yet read — Marcus’s story — A BRIDE FOR MARCUS — my first book in over a year, and my first self-published full-length novel.
It’s the 6th book in the Devil-riders series, but it can be read as a stand-alone. It comes out on 25th March and can be pre-ordered now. There is a paperback as well as an e-book but some sites are still uploading it
A few reviewers and some of the wenches have read it, but that’s all. So it’s not testing anything—you can only guess at the answers — it’s just for fun. So here it is, a fun little quiz on a book you haven’t read. Make a note of your answers, check them on the link at the bottom and come back and tell us how you went, and whether you enjoyed it or hated doing a quiz on something you can’t know. It would be fun to have a historical romance version of those “choose your own adventure” books I remember from childhood.

I got 8 right! Not bad, if I do say so myself! As I went along, with the questions, the story seemed to unfold. I was really stumped by the honeymoon question. As I believe the novel to be a Regency, some of the choices seemed unlikely. Your quiz was quite clever, and peaked everyone’s interest, which was most certainly your intent!

The quiz was fun. Am I odd though that I wrote down my answers, but I didn’t click the link to find out which ones were correct yet? I decided to find out as I read, because I’m very anti-spoilers 😛 However, it was fun to guess and to build anticipation for revisiting one of my favorite series and characters I so enjoyed (especially Lady Gosforth–she might be my secret favorite)!

I got half of the answers right. I guessed the brother was a gambler, and that the aunt was hostile, so now I know what conflicts to expect in the story.
You can leave me out of the contest, I’ve already pre-ordered the book, and looking forward to it.
