Desiring Lady Caro takes place in Venice. Ella is well qualified to place her Regency characters in exotic settings, as she has lived in the U.S., Canada, England, Europe, Africa, South America, and the Caribbean.   6. I do like interacting with authors on Facebook. I think the best thing my favorite authors on facebook do is balance the info about themselves with questions to their readers/fans. Also, when the author answers back to comments that is a great sign the author cares about the readers.

    There’s only so many hours in a day, and I find that I get the most enjoyment out of blogs. I have four or five I follow on a regular basis. I’ve tried to do FaceBook but that involves sorting through lots of posts that are not always arranged logically. And I’ve never done twitter except to read the tweets on some of my blogs that have a tweet column off to the right.
    For the blogs on romances (vice the ones I do for work), I enjoy the interaction with authors, but what I mainly come across is a wonderful TBR list.
