Guest Author Kathrynn Dennis Here 10/10

Kathryndennis The Wenches are delighted to welcome new author, Kathrynn Dennis, as Jo’s guest on October 10. Kathrynn writes medieval paranormal with a strong emphasis on horses, and Dark Rider, her second book, is an October release. She’ll share her experiences in breaking into the business, and then talk about her "pet project" pun intended, about how animals match their owners, both in life and fiction. In her other life, Kathrynn is a research veterinarian.

  1. If animals match their owners, I’m getting rid of Sethra IMMEDIATELY!!! I wouldn’t mind being able to get by on looks alone, but I don’t want to be hairy and stupid!

  6. Theo: Oh dear, ADDH and goofy? That’s me to a T!
Tal, you just go ahead and be lean and mean. My cat, Christopher the Assassin is also lean and mean–and bloodthirsty. I think I’d rather be goofy. *g*

  11. Sherrie, yes, and she’s red, 14 months old and tries to beat on the ‘old man’ all the time. Her name is Ciinea (coon e a-short a) which is Romanian (hubby’s family!) for DOG! My DD1 named her. *sigh*
This is the ‘old man’ in his favorite position:

And since we’re sharing pics 😉 This is Ciinea’s favorite spot, next to me, in a ball, on my chair and a half

We rescued Chance. He weighed 48 pounds and was around two when we brought him home. We’ve had several, the one I miss most, Buster, was HUGE, weighed around 130.
I LOVE Nova’s Christmas pic! Too cute. And she’s just gorgeous. And they are the sweetest dogs, aren’t they?

  16. LOL! I love the disembodied head rising up from all that red. And yes, they ARE the sweetest dogs! I used to show Dobies and have adopted rescues for the past 30 years. Bless you for rescuing poor Chance.

  21. LOVE that ad! 😆
Sherrie, (and yes, I know, highjacking the thread again!) when I’m cooking at the stove, Chance comes and leans against the backs of my legs. Poor little guy. Well, not so little, he’s up to 80 pounds now but he’s pretty stout.
