Breaking news: Dancing on the Wind audiobook

Cat 243 Doverby Mary Jo

Yayyyy!  After numerous delays (I'm never going to produce an audiobook under a Mercury retrograde again!), the audio of my RITA winning Regency historical Dancing on the Wind (Book #2 ofthe Fallen Angels series) has now gone live on Audible.com  and should soon be up at Amazon and Apple as well.  It was recorded at the Audio Factory in Glastonbury, England, the same studio that produced the audiobook of The Bargain.

Rough draft 1I'll probably blog about this at greater length later, but I know some Word Wench regulars like audio, so I thought I'd mention it now.  Plus, I'm happy that it's available after the various delays.  If you like audiobooks, I hope you enjoy it!

  1. Whew! he really smoulders, doesn’t he? And I do find the profile shot so much more intriguing than the “topless” look. Altogether, a VERY nice cover.
    Congratulations!

  6. Thanks, Lucy! When I first released the e-edition of Dancing on the Wind a couple of years ago, there were many fewer images available for the cover. I decided to spring for a new cover with the audio edition, and I like this image MUCH better! Good looking blond men who look like adults are really hard to find among the stock images, so I was really pleased to find this fellow. I think he makes a very good Lucien. A smouldery one.

  11. Great News!
It would also be brilliant if ‘The Lost Lords’ series could be completed in audio. Audible UK currently has books 2,3,4
Actually it has only a total of six audios at present including 2 of the Fallen Angels series and ‘The Bargain’. I have listened to all of them and want MORE, MORE, MORE … please!
Like many I think, tired eyes and vision problems make me prefer audio books for relaxation, and a good narrator can really add an extra dimension of enjoyment.
Sill mustn’t be greedy. I am very grateful for the few books available in the UK … they are wonderful stories. 🙂

  16. Quantum–There is an audiobook of Lost Lords #1 (LOVING A LOST LORD), and there will be releases soon of #5 and #6. #6. Not Quite a Wife, will be out quite soon. #5, Sometime a Rogue, fell between the cracks contractually, but will be out in several months.
The other three audiobooks you mentioned are the three that I had produced. A lot of my books have been audioed, but I’m not sure about international distribution.
I’m glad you’re enjoying my audiobooks–I’ll continue to produce new ones from my backlist as long as I can at least earn enough to break even. (They’re pricey!)
    Happy listening!

  21. Oh goody! I have 2 credits at Audible and now I know what to use them for. I listen to audiobooks while walking on the health club treadmill.
