(1) A New Wench! (2) Winners

Princess A NEW WENCH:

On Wednesday, June 16, our new demi-Wench makes her debut.  We're very excited, and hope you will be to.  Be sure to drop by on Wednesday and find out who the new Wench will be and join us in welcoming her to Wenchlandia.

WINNERS:

We have two more winners!  Congratulations to Julie Spurgeon who won a book from Mary Jo Putney and to Fran Colley (Hellion) who won a book from guest Eileen Dreyer.

Since some of you have asked for details on winners for specific Wenches, I've listed below, the winners A-WinnerRight for the past two months.  From now on, when we list winners in our Sunday announcements, I'll provide details that will help you correlate winners to Wenches (as I've done above).  We appreciate your feedback on this.

A reminder–we post winners in three places: in Sunday announcements, in the Winners sidebar to the right, and in the monthly newsletter (sign up for the newsletter in the sidebar on the right).  If you're a regular commenter, your chances are good that you'll eventually be picked as a book winner. Same thing for new commenters–while we have no problem awarding books to repeat winners, we also like to give everyone a fair chance, so if you're new to the blog, be sure to leave a comment!

Here is a look at the winners for the last two months.  The winner's name is on the left and the Wench or guest they won the book from is in parentheses:

Pearl Graham (guest Miranda Neville)
Nina Paules (Susan)
Donna Kenney (Mary Jo)
Anne Roller (Jo)
Patricia Barraclough (guest Joanna Bourne)
Terry Wright (4th anniversary winner)
Virginia Campbell (guest Louise Allen)
Dolores Feagin (Andrea)
Jackie Wilson (Jo)
Julie Spurgeon (Mary Jo)
Julie Poorman (Anne)
Fran Colley (guest Eileen Dreyer)

  1. Kat, thanks for your question. Cara Elliott’s winner was Dolores Feagin. I have gone in and revised my post to include the winners for the past two months, for anyone who wants to know.

  6. So I’m still the winner of Eileen’s book right? (Since I AM Hellion, but I’m not Dolores Feagin…)
Please say I’m still a winner. Please say I’m still a winner.
